July 25 & 26: Wright Family Reunion

Faye had fun hanging out in the blow up bounce house.
The rockets shot up so high!
"Three, two, one....blast off!!"

Saturday evening we met back at the pavilion for more food and for "Rocket Man." We learned how to make a full-blown rocket with just a plaster liter bottle, tape, and playdough. That got everyone excited!

And there was the traditional water ballon launcher. Thanks Jake for helping me fill all those balloons!

"I did it!"

One new thing that I had never seen before was a zip line, where they slid down between two trees. Most of the kids tried it. We were so proud of Calvin--look at him go!

There was shooting: targets were clay pigeons and random pieces of garbage.

Saturday morning and early afternoon was spent up at the cabin my grandpa built in Aspen Meadows. It is such a beautiful piece of property. I have so many special memories taking trips up there with my grandparents. It is fun to share that with Matt and make new memories there with Calvin and Faye.

Calvin was excited to ride "Tom." He did such a good job!

The fun started out Friday evening at the Church pavilion. We had sloppy joes, had horseback riding for the kids, played kickball, and Bart and Jeremy made homemade rootbeer for floats. Faye is taking a good wiff of it...yummy!
