Children's Museum

My mom was able to fly in and visit Memorial Day weekend. So while Matt was at work on Friday, we went to the Children's Museum. It's been awhile since we've been there. It seemed a lot more crowded and louder this time around. It took the kids a little to warm up to all of it, but once they did, they had a lot of fun.

They had a Curious George area, and it made laugh to see Lucas' reaction to George...just wanted to keep hugging him and didn't want anyone else to touch him.

Sometimes I am really surprised at the difference on what I would conclude to be the most fun areas and what the children's opinions are. This little rest area that had a fallen tree log and stairs that went up to a tree house was by far one of their favorites. They could have stayed there the whole time. Calvin and Faye loved climbing on top of the log, and Lucas was all about walking up the stairs and then sliding down (over and over and over).
Though it was a definite agreement with the water area, as you can tell by their smiles.
Lucas kicked and screamed when we had to leave it. He was so upset.
