Once a year all the children from ages 3 to 11 prepare a program for Sacrament Meeting at church. They sing lots of songs they've been learning throughout the year and have speaking parts in between. Today was ours, and both Faye and Calvin were able to speak. They both did a really good job. Calvin's part was actually from part of a talk he had given in Primary a couple of months ago.
Because it was a special day we got extra dolled up for church. Faye has been saving this dress for months now to wear especially for the program. It has been named the "Program Dress." I even got out my crimper that I have had for ages and crimped her hair. She received many compliments on it. On the ride to church she kept saying, "Don't I look beautiful?"
Everyone all spiffied up.
Lucas has become such a goofball when it comes to pictures...

Oh how precious!! I LOVE the "program" dress, and yes, she does look beautiful. I love primary program Sundays... Ours was last week, too. Always such a treat -- entertaining, and I always get so teary when they sing such beautiful songs.
Lucas looks like a little fiesty guy! Hilarious. And I can't believe how big Calvin is getting, too!
