Short but Sweet

Last weekend Lucas and I took a short little trip to Utah.

He exceeded all my expectations on the plane, and we received quite a few compliments from the passengers on how well he did. It was nice that it wasn't a full flight to Utah because we were able to take his car seat on the plane. It was a late flight, and Lucas ended up sleeping through his first landing.

Friday night we had a little get together of family and friends. This is my cousin, Jen, and her baby, Lincoln, who was also born in December.

It has been a little over a year since all four of us have been together. These were my last roommates, and a lot has happened in just a year. One had a little baby girl, one graduated with her doctorate, and one got married and is pregnant.

It was fun to be back in Utah for a bit

and spend time with my mom and brother.
