Calvin can be such a gentleman! One thing that I've noticed is that he loves to open up doors. I especially notice it when we go to the gym. He loves to pull the door open for Faye and me. I'm grateful he has a father who provides such a good example.
Calvin loves to be a good helper! As of late, I've tried to give him more responsibility like helping set the table. He puts the plates on and tries to figure out where all the silverware goes. The other night he was especially cute. Faye was sitting in her chair waiting for dinner. I was busy in the kitchen, and she kept saying, "Bib on. Bib on." Calvin went over and put it on her. His arms barely reached to get it around her neck. Then he sat up and put his own bib on!
Faye is the cutie supreme! Her face tells all. You know when she's sad, happy, frustrated, mad, when she's loving the attention, and when she thinks she's too cool for you. She's beginning to know us so well that she knows exactly what we will say: She sneezes, and she says "bless you" before we can. I tug too hard on her hair, she says "sorry." I give her something to eat, she says "thank you" and follows it quickly with "you're welcome." She says "fall" when going down the stairs, and beats me with saying "gotcha."
