I think Faye may have been jealous of Calvin's doctor visits, so she wanted one of her own. After a couple weeks of a consistent cough and runny nose, it all p
eaked with a fever. A visit with the doctor concluded she had pneumonia. Of all things! After being thrown up on three times, we finally learned the tricks of keeping medicine down, and she is on the mend.
But the amazing this of it all is that starting at the time she was at her worst, her verbal skills became her best! I think that would be something interesting to research: if when one aspect of your body isn't functioning at it's best, if others increase to make up the difference.
So Faye has begun to speak with more confidence and putting lots of words together in two-word phrases: "cut it," "jacket on," "pants off," "Kai (Calvin) sleepin."
It's so fun to watch them become independent little people.

Kylan loves to look at pictures of Calvin. I think it's cute. He doesn't even really know him, but whenever pictures of Cal come up on our digital frame Kylan gets really exctied. We miss you all and hope you are doing well.
