Our Costumes

Meet Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.

I really enjoyed making these two costumes. It was fun to watch them come together. I even started with enough time so I wasn't stressing out at the last minute to finish. I found great tutorials here and here that were easy to follow. It was Faye's idea to be Tinkerbell, and then I thought it would be fun for Lucas to join her as Peter Pan. It made me happy to see their excitement with how they looked.

We already had everything for Calvin's costume, so that made things easy.

We got to try everything out for our ward's trunk-or-treat party. Matt and I even got involved this year dressing up as a cowboy and a skeleton (like our baby skeleton?) :)

The best part, of course, was the trunk-or-treating. Calvin and Faye had fun, and I think it was a bit overwhelming for Lucas. He kept just starring up at everyone as they walked by him.

And they were all very interested in seeing their loot when we got home.

Lucas was so cute with his candy! He made us laugh with how animated he was about each piece of candy. He couldn't get enough of them. He would take the pieces out and then put them back in his bucket. He was very proud of his stash!
