We weren't sure how making a 13 hour drive to Utah would turn out, but we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. It brought back some memories for me because every summer we would make the 12 hour drive from Anaheim to SLC. It once again made appreciate my mom and all the work she would do to get things ready. It's quite the project to make sure you have everything you need to survive away from home, especially with three little kids. It made the biggest difference for me to sit back in the middle seat next to Lucas. It decreased our number of stops greatly.

Calvin was a trooper to be in the back packed snugly with all of our stuff.
Lucas did such a great job, and Faye was a great help in entertaining him.
