Well, here we are in Beaverton, OR!
The movers arrived last Wednesday morning to unload all of our stuff. We have a lot of stuff!
Being able to unpack has helped make the transition seem more real and permanent. Since leaving home for college, I've never lived in the same place for more than a year and a half, so this feels very new knowing we will be here for a lot longer than that!
The majority of the boxes have been unpacked, though we're still trying to organize and arrange furniture (we actually have furniture!).
It was such a nice feeling to have our first home-cooked meal at our own kitchen table. It's so nice to have our wedding stuff out. Most of it has been in boxes at my mom's house, so we have new things! Matt bought a lawn mower and weed whacker and is rearing to go with lawn care. We're excited to plant a garden and bought different vegetable seeds and blueberry and strawberry plants.
And this is the backyard we've been so excited about! The kids love it!

What a nice house! I'm so that you all are getting settled, and have "new" wedding things. It's so nice to have new things. Congratulations on a beautiful new house in a beautiful area.
